UNDERLAY SPECIFICATIONS

 Blue Foam open cell EPE 3mm – (BLUE)

This is a budget underlay used for rental and low budget laminate, and engineered flooring projects.  It has a 40-micron plastic film with a 100mm overlap and tape system to join.

Grey closed cell EVA 1.5mm (LIGHT GREY)

This is a mid-range underlay used for most typical laminate and engineered flooring projects. It has a plastic moisture barrier film with a 100mm overlap and tape system to join.

Black 3mm EVA with gold foil (BLACK AND GOLD, Acoustic)

This is mid to high range underlay used for a quiet underfoot sound and feel. It has a gold foil barrier with 100mm overlap and tape system to join.

Quiet Achiever 2.5mm EVA with moisture barrier (Acoustic)

This is a top range underlay with acoustic rated and BCA approved characteristics. This should be used on high end floor covering projects. It has a plastic moisture 40-micron PE film with a 100mm overlap and tape system to join.

3mm Heavy Gold Rubber

This is a heavy rubber underlay used for heavy duty floor covering areas.  It has a gold foil barrier with 100mm overlap and tape system to join.

Peaceful Warrior 3mm IXPE with builder’s film moisture barrier (GREEN / PINK COLOUR, Acoustic)

This is a top range underlay with acoustic rated BCA approved characteristics. This should be used on high end floor covering projects. It has a full builders film thickness plastic moisture film with a 100mm overlap and tape system to join.
